lioness / [lī-an-es] // noun 1. a female lion.
Lions live in a matriarchal society. The lioness fearlessly hunts food for the pride and cares for her own young; she's a symbol of feminine strength and empowerment.
This was a Branding and Industrial Design project for the company formerly known as Smartbod. A company that makes smart vibrators to help women learn about their own bodies. Being a women-centric company, established by women for women, the name “Smartbod” was ultimately devoid of this embodiment. In their own words "We didn’t want a brand that’s common with many traditional women’s products; soft, gentle and, pastels. Our product is uplifting, motivational, empowering, and strong.” Hence the name Lioness.
